I went on at exactly 12:00 the minute the deal started. Hit "add to cart". Nothing. I tried on a different browser then, just got some "add to wait list" and nothing happened there either. Then went to Internet Explorer and there got the "add to wait list" and got nowhere there either. Checked my cart, nothing there. After 15 minutes of clicking and clicking on add to wait list and checking my cart I finally called amazon. After they checked with manager they said they absolutely could not give me the $100 credit (I had already ordered the kindle this morning, for $189, before I heard about this deal). So I don't understand, at all, what happened - - -sigh. didn't work for me :( - but thanks for letting us all know.
