The best gift I ever got was Jesus and the salvation He gave me through His birth, death, burial and resurrection. My children and my husband and parents, brother are all precious gifts. My children made me a scrapbook last year for Christmas and put time and effort into it, I treasure that. My husband gave me an heirloom ring last year with pictures of my kids in it. I have alot of different special things....hard to choose on the material stuff.

My favorite gift was a necklace my Mom gave me that my Grandfather had left for me before he died. I love it and it reminds me of him when I wear it.
Thank you so much for the crocs deal of the day post yesterday! I got my boys Cubbies crocs for $9.95! And free shipping ;-) They will be thrilled Christmas Morning and in AZ Crocs are practically a year round shoe.

My favorite gift was the fluffy robe my husband and son got me 11 years ago. I think about them every time I wear it.
The most meaningful gift I have been given is my grandmothers charm bracelet. She has passed away but I remember her wearing it when I was a child. It has all of her grandchildrens names and birthdates on hanging silouettes of children.

Most meaningful gift was a blanket. My father in law who is a fire chief takes a nap everyday and he is cold when he sleeps on top of the covers, and hot when he sleeps under the covers. So I found a fire engine fleece material and made him a blanket. He used it everyday when he napped! He said it was PERFECT! He passed away November 20, 2009 and now my mother in law says it is now her perfect blanket.
The most meaningful gifts that I have given have been to each of my children and to each of my nieces and nephews when they were born. I cross stitched afghans for each of them.
For Christmas one year, I gave my husband a flight on an old-fashioned biplane (open cockpit...scarf, goggles, and hat included!). Our daughters were able to come with me to watch him as he took off and landed. They were amazed at how their daddy could fly! He was their superhero that day!
The most meaningful gift i have given was when I did a sub for santa when I was a teenager. We collected money from the kids at school so we could buy pajamas and games for a family we didn't know.
The most meaningful gift I have ever given was to my grandmother one Christmas. My Papa had died several years before and she missed him terribly. My sister and I got her a painting of him. It was so beautiful and Papa looked so handsome in it. My grandmother died the next year but when they found her she was facing the picture. We really believe she was looking at it when she died.

My sisters and I flew in to El Paso to visit my parents after not seeing them for 6 months. May not seem long to others, but we had never been separated until their move down there. We flew in for Mom's birthday and she cried.

The most meaningful gift I've given was to my in-laws on their 50th wedding anniversary. We wrote all their friends and asked them to send a memory and assembled them into two albums. It was great to read the memories and it's something my in-laws can go back to again and again.
Greatest gift I've given is my constant devotion, time and affection to my family.
The best gift I've ever received is the chance to be a mom to my two wonderful sons.

I bought my friend a suit to wear to a very important work function. He had no appropriate clothing to wear to it. There was a suit in his closet; when he tried it on the seams split! Later, he got a promotion. Not sure if it was because of the new suit, but he looked great in it! Thanks.
The most meaningful gift I've ever given is one that I'm giving this year. We have a farm that has been in our family for over 100 years. It's extremely special to my father. One year ago, my grandfather was killed in an accident on the farm. It has nearly devastated my dad, but he loves that place more than anything. This year for Christmas, I had a blanket made (from SeeHere) with a beautiful picture of the farm on it. The colors are gorgeous and it will mean the world to my dad.

The most meaningful gift I've ever given is 3 replacement plates for my mother's wedding china. It took me 10 months and 3 states, but I replaced the plates that had been broken in a cross-country move when I was a kid.
The look on my mother's face is something I'll never forget.
The most meaningful gift I have ever given was a scrapbook to my husband for valentines's day. I worked very ahrd on it, and it was priceless to watch his face as he flipped through our memories together.

A book to my niece for her birthday.
For my husband's 30th birthday, I made him a digital scrapbook that he loved more than any other gift he has every receieved. It did have a few photos in it, but it was mostly letters of memories, well wishes, and other thoughts from people that are most important to him - family, friends, and old sports coaches. He loved it and I loved making it!

My best gift would be my family. God has really blessed me in that department. My spouse gave me a nice set up pearls and earrings on my wedding day becasue he said "My wife is not getting married in fake pearls". He has also given me a white gold locket that was engraved with "my love" on it and I put pics of my twin daughters in that when they were born. My Mom passed down her Bible that she received when she was eight and I have since passed it on to my daughters who take turns taking it to church.

I gave my husband the VHS movie of "Two of a Kind", which was the first movie we ever saw together (in the 5th grade). We saw that movie while our moms sat behind us on our first date. We reconnected later in life and when we saw each other for the first time as adults, I gave him the movie. Took me forever to find it on ebay and they don't even make it on DVD. ha! :) We were married just a month later-- when we were 30 years old. We met in second grade and rode the same bus to school. :)
