by Tara Kuczykowski on October 27, 2008 · 10 comments

Today only you can get a free DVD rental at your local Redbox. Simply use code: 93NCA5. This can be used once per debit/credit card, so you can rent more than one for free by using different cards!

Wondering just how exactly to use these Redbox codes that I post every Monday? Check out Redbox 101 for step-by-step instructions!.

Carol, are you saying that the DVD is damaged and won't play? I found this information on the Redbox website.

What do I do if my DVD is unplayable or the wrong DVD is in the case?

Please contact redbox Customer Service at 1.866.733.2693, 7 days a week from 7:00 a.m. to midnight Central Time, or send redbox an email. Please note that redbox cannot refund charges that are older than 90 days.

I called and told them it said disk error cannot read. The customer service person I talked to made it sound like if you just use the free codes they can code the movies to have errors. This is the first time I have had a problem. Just wondered if anyone else had been having problems.
Thanks for all your great money saving ideas.

Wow, I haven't heard of others having problems. I can't imagine that they would do that because it would certainly discourage you from paying to use them. I think I'd call back and ask to speak with a supervisor if the customer service person tells you the same thing.
