$100 Home Depot Gift Card for $50 on Mastercard Marketplace

by Tara Kuczykowski on December 30, 2010 · 13 comments

It looks like the Mastercard Marketplace Overwhelming Offer for today will be a $100 Home Depot Gift Card for just $50! These offers go very fast, so register now to be prepared. The offer should start at 1:00pm EST!

I know many of you don't use credit cards, but this works with Mastercard debit cards as well. And you only have to provide the first 6 digits of your card to register! Of course you'll need to provide the full card number when/if you make a purchase, but you can check it out risk free.

Does it cost anything to register? And where do you go to see this offer? Thank you.

Just to be clear on how this works, you don't get an actual gift card. You spend $100 online at HomeDepot.com and then you get a credit back to your Mastercard within 1-2 billing cycles. Still a good deal.

It sold out in two minutes!! I was online at the exact moment and their site wouldn't work. By the time it worked, all gone. :(

It looks like you have to pay 29.95 to register or am I missing something?

The site said it sold out in 8 seconds!

How on earth can you offer something that is expected to sell out in 8 seconds? I mean, why even advertise if a company only has 8 seconds' worth of something to offer? Pretty cheezy....

They offered 1,000 of them -- crazy that they went so fast!

I think it's great that they actually have a way to practice getting in on the deals!!! LOL I'm still trying to figure out a way to move the cursor around to click into the box for the code and get my "time" under 8 seconds. I thought I did pretty well but didn't make it. Oh well... I'll keep trying - they have some crazy great deals!

No, won't shop at Homedepot.com again. Learned my lesson the first time. If you want to return something, you cannot return it to the store. You must pay shipping to send it back. No thanks.
