I went to Old Navy in OR and no $1 flag tees! I was slightly upset because it was a 30 minute drive. Oh well, I should have read the comments before I went. Live and Learn!

Just checked out the store in Plainfield IN. They said they have no idea where that information is coming from. The sale is only in Canada. ????? Why would Canadians want to wear a shirt with an American Flag on it????? So no $1 Flag T-shirts for us today. Boo. Hiss.

Old navy flag tees in Chattanooga Tennessee are $5.00 instead of $1.oo. Wish i had read the comments BEFORE I OPENED MY BIG MOUTH TO THE KIDS!!!!! What are you gonna do ? Listen to them cry all the way home? No thanks!! i will just have to save $8.00 somewhere else this week.

Just went to Old Navy in Chesapeake, VA (Greenbrier) and the would not honor the $1.00 flag tees....said it was only valid in Canada? I'll check another store in town later but what a bummer!

Ok coming from working in a retail clothing store for several years. This is usually how it works. Sale updates don't come in (however the store receives them, we get them through our intranet), till last minute possibly the night before. Old navy has a merch team that comes in EARLY in the morning to set the new sales and floor changes. Most companys do not release any sale info to anyone, not even the employees until sale day.( We may have an idea on the type of sale or the theme, but no specifics) I worked at old navy and from what I could see we didn't find out about sales till they were happening. The only reason I can think of, would be to keep ppl from waiting till a later date to purchase items. In retail you want the sale TODAY, not "i'll come back later" cuz most likely they won't. As far as the oldnavyweekly.com update, I'd have to say its gonna happen thursday/friday considering the coupons from the last up date expire on 7/2.

So, I called Old Navy Customer Service and they said this event was 'planned' but has since been cancelled. I then called my local ON store who said they were not aware of a $1 sale for Friday.

I'm not hopeful for the $1 tees, but think I'll still check it out on Friday. It seems they would want to get rid of holiday inventory, right?

Does anyone know if this is an Old Navy event or is it specific to the Arizona store?

well sine its not HERE in USA this advertisement needs to be adjusted. I know e-mails are already sent out but ppl are still checking e-mails its not to late. Most of the time i dont even look at comments. lucky I did this one or i be looking stupid at old navy asking about the shirts...lol Thanks for the tips though on other stuff

Neighbor's kid works at Old Navy- he said that they got 25 phone calls this afternoon asking the same thing and that no one knows anything about it. lol. That's what we get for believing everything we read online.

I just called our middle TN Old Navy & they said that was a Canada deal that leaked out to the US and they will not be offering $1 T-shirts Friday.

I was just at my old navy (I stopped in becuase its next door to bath and body works). They told me they had been told by there manager the promo was not real and was a hoax on the internet. That being said they also admitted that they were told the same thing about the flip flops till the day before. So I dont know... I would love to get my family shirts especially my husband they would work great for him at work since he is always ruining them.

I've heard that Old Navy isn't actually doing the $1 tees this friday...
