I'm really excited about this new $0.50/2 Extra Gum printable coupon. Yes, it's not that spectacular, but we don't see coupons for gum very often, and chewing gum is the best tactic I've found to prevent mindless snacking.
I have a tendency to eat when I'm bored or when I'm procrastinating, so I keep a pack of gum in my purse at all times and I chew it instead of eating. It almost always does the trick!
Yes, that really is my purse, and I totally had a pack of Extra in it right now...
Walmart and Extra have also teamed up to offer a really cool FREE pedometer app for smartphones. Did you know that recent studies suggest that you should be walking a minimum of 10,000 steps per day for good health? I'm guessing that I get nowhere close to that since I spend much of the day planted firmly on my behind while blogging, so I'm going to install this on my phone and track it for a few days.
